If you’re wondering why I created a list of Spanish movies, it’s because I get asked for recommendations about movies in Spanish all the time and nothing ever comes to mind when the question comes up.  So I figured why not make a list I can point people to and not have to reveal that my memory is awful.
The movies are in no particular order, so browse through the list until you see something of interest. You can usually find the actual movie on Netflix or Amazon.
Almost every movie listed is in Spanish, 100%.  So turn on those subtitles if you need them. I recommend that beginners use English subtitles, intermediate learners use Spanish subtitles and advanced learners or accomplished speakers don’t use subtitles at all unless you really need them.
If you’re wondering how I selected the movies on this list, you may be disappointed to discover there wasn’t much thought or science behind it.  The list primarily consists of movies that I’ve seen , that are very highly recommended by friends or received some type of accolades from the movie experts.
Got a movie to add to this list?  Please leave your recommendations in the comments, I’d love to add them to this list.
OK, it’s finally time to get to that list.
